YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- James & Weaver, a professional space planning and interior design firm, recently completed its first project for First Place Bank that supports the financial institution's new marketing image.

First Place Bank's new building in Howland is unique within the community and a showplace for the company, says Denise Powell, president, James & Weaver. Her company provided interior design and furniture for the bank branch. "This building not only represents a new image for First Place Bank, but complements the contemporary image of the community of Howland," Powell adds.

James & Weaver, an 81-year-old company, is one of the only design firms in the region that specializes in design development consultation for office environments and has a number of high-profile projects under way, including refurbishment of the center court at 20 Federal Plaza West. The company's storefront studio is at 22 W. Wood St. in downtown Youngstown.
